Andrea moved to NYC shortly after graduating from Wright State University in her home town Dayton, Ohio. She began her career in New York working as a bartender at a popular Greenwich Village restaurant, where her passion for the hospitality industry began. She found her way to Ark Restaurant Corp. and then worked with the legendary Barbara Smith in the theater district, before managing an upscale restaurant & lounge on the Upper West Side. Upon recommendation from a friend to "check out catering with Cleaver Co" Andrea made her way to Cleaver where she learned about the Slow Food Movement and quickly embraced the Farm to Table mission of the company. After working through the ranks in catering, Andrea became Staffing Manager in 2008.
“My goal,” she says “is to cultivate mindful, consciously skilled staff, who care about the work we do and complement our tailored, seasonal menus. I am truly inspired everyday working in such a diversely talented community!”
