Gabby started her food career in her early 20s after opening a vegetarian co-operative with fellow activists of the Peace and Justice Center in the Westlake district of Los Angeles. Soon realizing that pastry was her calling, she moved to San Francisco to cut her teeth in several fine dining and high-end catering venues. She spent 4 years at the San Francisco Ritz Carlton, where she worked her way up to Production Coordinator, overseeing and planning production for one of the busiest locations of the brand. Feeling drawn to New York, she soon found the perfect artistic and environmentally-responsible match with Cleaver Co, and in fact has been the pastry chef here twice!
She loves travel, outdoor adventures, art, and the NY Yankees.
